Who is Susie Ostrov

I

I haven’t the time to worry about my age, my wrinkles or the size of my various body parts.  I have too much fun spending time on the things I can do something about! Susie Ostrov

Susie Ostrov grew up in Chicago’s North Shore community and remembers being made fun of for always wearing dresses.  Susie’s first became acquainted with the fashion world when she began to read Seventeen Magazine, followed by Glamour, Harper’s Bazaar and Vogue.  To this day, Susie still enjoys looking at fashion for pure aesthetic pleasure.

Susie worked as a professional fundraiser prior to launching her own shopping consulting business and always felt that her sense of style and her confidence in dressing were important factors when soliciting funds from wealthy philanthropists.

Susie is also a painter and realizes that her love of clothing, style and texture is a natural outgrowth of her artistic yearnings.   All of the paintings shown in this website were painted by her.

Susie does not enjoy buying or owning clothing or accessories simply as symbols of wealth and accomplishment but loves to dress to please her own eye and sense of self.  She also does not believe in owning too much  but prefers to direct her clients to purchase items that they will wear and enjoy again and again.

Susie’s fashion consulting business began after she had been approached numerous times by friends and co-workers for help with their wardrobes and personal styling.

Susie’s clients range from corporate executives, working mothers, single fathers, attorneys, doctors, grandmas of all ages, musicians, philanthropists, young adults to anyone and everyone who needs to get dressed for daytime, evening or special occasions.

Her clients and friends rely on her to find out just “what to wear” that will suit their lifestyles, their careers and their bodies.  Susie’s clients tell her repeatedly that she has “changed their lives”.

Clothing is the avenue through which you express yourself to society, including members of the opposite sex.  If you don’t feel any excitement about how you look and feel, don’t expect anyone else to feel that way either. Susie Ostrov
