Stay in Style: Some Summer into Fall “HOT” Looks
If you’re feeling in need of a close-to-the-end of summer pick-me-up, here are few pieces that I’m oohing and aahing over. The top dress, left side, is a winner that I found early in the season in one of Anthropologie’s catalogues. It is still not available, which is strange. But online at anthropologie.com, it says the dress will be available at the end of August. It just seems to me to be the kind of dress that will look good one anyone and can be dressed up or down for day or nighttime parties, etc…
The bright poppy and cream, ikat print skirt is available now at lizclaiborne.com on sale for $29.99! It’s really adorable and can be worn into early fall with a jacket and pumps.
Top right corner is a dress that I have looked at a hundred times. It’s the Boho dress (see my previous blog on Boho Chic for more hip looking ideas) by Gryphon and retails for $642 at 25park.com. It’s a very cool dress that can go year ’round. Pair it with Frye boots for fall. Truly adorable. It is also available in limited sizes at shopbop.com.
Second row is a turquoise-styled bracelet that can go with anything and everything. It’s available at fantasyjewelry.com for a mere $29.
Here’s another dress tha I really like from anthropologie.com. It’s a great little, bright blue shirtdress and is the same piece I showed in white on my earlier blog, Dressing for Less Than $100. This dress can also go into early fall by adding a cute cardigan over it.
And for my last pics this week — go ahead and show some reall style with any of these great pieces. The expandable bracelet on the left will “up” the cool quotient when paired with any outfit. It’s $150 and available at ivyblue.com. The dress in the middle is another superb look from lizclaiborne.com (thank you Isacc Mizraachi for taking over!). This ikrat print is available in misses and petites and is on sale for about $50! It will easily go into fall and is a great piece for work — pair it with a bright cardigan or jacket. The beautiful skirt on the right is from elizabeth and james and can be found at 25park.com. The colors remind me of a Monet painting. You can put anything with this skirt, from a white blouse to a black t-shirt, or a beautiful tailored cream-colored jacket. Lovely!
