Cynthia Steffe for Spring 2009
Let’s face it, many of us probably could get away without buying much this Spring — but that’s just not realistic. Every wardrobe needs updating and every woman needs to feel excited about how she looks and there’s no other way to do that than to purchase a few key pieces each season.
I was looking through the Spring 2009 Fashion Shows — see style.com — when I came upon the Cynthia Steffe show. I never thought much about this label until I recently purchased a khaki dress that was the ultimate in style, sophistication and sweetness all wrapped up in one. So, I figured it wouldn’t hurt to puruse the show for this season’s wares. Well, what a great decision that was! I was simply delighted to see great clothing, great colors, shapes and just about everything a woman needs in her wardrobe. And, this line is relatively affordable (dresses in the $200′s mostly).
I could have put a photo of just about everything that the line had in it, because I liked 99% of it. Even the cool blue romper pictured above retains its ladylike appearance while giving off a hip vibe. The khaki outfit above is comfy looking while chic and I am mad about the red flowered dress — great pattern, color and an easy-to-wear shape. Bravo!
I’m definitely going to hunt for this awesome black leather skirt. I love that the cut is so feminine while the fabric keeps it looking cool and tough. Afterall, that’s just how I see myself!
