Great Shopping Websites
Here’s a listing of some websites that I’ve enjoyed recently. I have not made purchases at all of them but I’ve found clothes and/or accessories that I like and recommend these sites for good fashion viewing:
- styledrops.com – Prada shoes and purses, and other major fashion labels, as well. Lots of sizes in the shoes!
- Tobi.com – nice selection of dresses, jackets and online help to discuss color, sizing, etc…
- shopbop.com – a vast selection of mid-range to mildly expensive clothes from most contemporary designers.
- bleuclothing.com — great variety of contemporary designers.
- net-a-porter.com — expensive, top designer boutique with a carefully chosen array of clothing and accessories
- zappos.com — the best website for shoes, hands down, free shipping and a 365 days to make your decision whether to return or night, a lot of shoes and a lot of sizes.
- shopsheboutique.com — a local store (Chicago area) that has beautiful pieces and a very nice website.
- amiami.com — another local store with a very nice website.
- toryburch.com — you’ll find most of her designs here, some that you haven’t seen in the stores and decent sales.
- victoriassecret.com — great shoes and boots at low prices. (See my Blog, Thigh Boots and Shoes and Boots for Fall 2008).
- revolveclothing.com – hip clothes, average to mid-high prices.
- kirnazabete.com — very up-to-the moment fashion.
- shopstyle.com — a clearing house of style that will forward you to many different websites for purchases.
- edressme.com — a ton of clothing with many designers represented.
- Nordstroms.com — now has an option for in-store pick-up — very nice.
- Saksfifthavenue.com, neimanmarcus.com, bergdorfgoodman.com and barneysny.com — all great department stores and decent websites. Barneys really needs to “up” its selection online but it’s still worth checking out.
- bebe.com — Fairly affordable “hot” clothing — sometimes too hot, but great leathers, platforms, and tight tops, if you happen to need any.
Watch for specials at all the websites for free shipping promos and ALWAYS check their return policies and privacy info.
