Platform Shoes:
They give me height, aren’t crippling, so I can actually walk far in them and they’re always great looking.
Big Necklaces:
Why wear jewelry that doesn’t have an impact? A great necklace added to a simple top or dress makes an outfit. I love to wear the same dress again and again but put it with different necklaces – each time the look will change significantly.
Statement Rings:
They draw attention to beautiful hands, which all women have.
Short Nails:
I have things to do and need my hands to get them done… need I say more?
Cardigans:
Cropped cardigans show my waist, cover my arms in chillier weather and add color, when needed. Longer cardigans add color, warmth and are very feminine. I can never get enough of them!
Flip-Flops:
I can always find them in my size, can walk for miles in them, and because I like to wear dresses they can “casualize” an outfit so I can wear something wonderful for day but not feel over-dressed when I’m at the park with my kids.
Bracelets:
All kinds – bangles, gold, white gold, silver, bronze, hinged, plastic, colorful, black and white, turquoise, etc…. Especially to wear in summer. They add color, dimension, shape and accent any outfit. I like to mix them up… definitely no rules allowed here!
Simple Cotton Dresses:
To throw on to go out, to stay in, to clean house in, to take a walk in to go out for lunch, to wear to anything and anywhere.
Hanes Ribbed Cotton Tanks:
To wear under dresses, tops, sweaters. There’s nothing easier, hipper or cheaper.
Prada Nylon Purses:
The greatest invention of the past two decades. Always chic, never showy, lightweight, practical and can go in your washing machine when needed.
